Joyce A Conway or as I and the rest of my family calls her "Nan". She is 86 years young born in July 1929. She has seen a World War which my Grandpa, George Conway (Paw) fought in. Civil Rights movement, Women's Suffrage. She lives is a small town in Kentucky with a population no more than 4500 people. She has seen so many changes in the world its amazing.
Years ago before my Grandfather passed I always told myself I wanted to sit down, talk to him and take his portrait. As time flew by I ended up missing my chance. On Christmas this year with all the family coming together I brought my camera and some gear over to my parents house. While we were all relaxing and enjoying the day I had my chance to set up, sit down and chat with my grandma then take her portrait. It was a quick handful of frames that really meant a lot to me.
